If you consider yourself a holiday fanatic or if you just like making the holidays extra special for the kids please join Downtown Clearlake’s second annual Great Holiday Light Fight!!!
The Great Holiday Light Fight is a residential holiday decorating competition. Submit photos of your home all lit up, and fans of Downtown Clearlake will decide who has the best setup.

The Initial voting takes place on Downtown Clearlake’s Facebook Page
The top five finalists will be reviewed by a panel of judges

2022 Clearlake’s Great Light Fight Rules/Guidelines
How to win: The top three contestants with the most likes, and unique shares on our Facebook page will win! Make sure to tell your friends to share, comment, and or like your home’s post to vote!
Rules: Photos must be taken during the night so that your lights can shine extra bright! This contest is for residential homes within the City of Clearlake. The Voting takes place on Downtown Clearlake’s Facebook Page. The post with the most unique Shares + Likes will win!
Prizes: Given the difficult year our local businesses have experienced, our top prizes will feature local restaurants (La Chilanguita, Kour Thai, and Delicious Alvarez)
1st Place: $100 gift certificate
2nd Place: $75 gift certificate
3rd Place: $50 gift certificate
Deadlines: Deadline to register is December 15th, 2021. Please submit a photo of your home at time of registration. Voting ends on December 25th. Results will be posted on New Years Day!

All entries must include at least one photo of your home decorated. As part of the Great Holiday Light Fight, we may create a viewing map of well decorated homes. If you’re comfortable having your home listed, please enter your address and tick the acceptance box. You do not have to provide your address to participate.
